I’m just an ordinary mama navigating marriage, motherhood, and life in general. In this season of life, I find so much joy & purpose in creating. Whether it’s photographing new babies or capturing my own sacred space of life, I have always had a passion for documenting and creating art.

most days you can find me creating in the margins while mothering, writing, reading, cooking & counting down the minutes until my sweet husband rejoins our family for the day.

family

For 4 lucky years, I’ve been married to my sweet husband Zach. He is my absolute rock, my motivator, my inspiration & my forever love. We jokingly laugh that our journey into marriage was rocky & filled with doubt. Yet we both knew that God was calling us together. Saying ‘I do’ on that breezy, summer day in late August was by far the best decision I’ve made in my life. Navigating life and parenthood alongside another flawed human being has been a gift and privilege I will never take lightly. I thank God every day for you, my love.

I am the lucky mama to Leo, Noah & a soon-to-be baby girl in late December of this year. Like most things in my life, I walked into motherhood full of doubt and honestly, fear. Unknowingly, motherhood has taught me more than most anything in life and it has been the ultimate sanctifier of my soul. I can’t claim to know much as I walk this journey of parenthood, but I know God is good and my heart is always being refined.

professional life

I have been a NICU nurse for the last 10 years and have recently hung up my badge to be a full-time mama & focus on running this incredible business of mine. Nursing has been one of my greatest gifts in life and I’ve been lucky enough to walk alongside so many families both here in a NICU in the states, up in the air as an ICU transport nurse, and overseas on a hospital ship. I have witnessed breathtaking miracles, unforgettable stories of love, and heartbreaking moments of suffering that have changed me and molded me into the woman I am today.

I picked up a camera way back in high school with dreams of working for National Geographic, but it wasn’t until I became a mother that my camera took on an entirely new purpose. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with documenting my family both in photographs & video and my greatest hope in life is that I leave this world having created a lasting, meaningful legacy for my family. My prayer is that every mama feels empowered to see her unique love as a tangible, creative gift for her children, no matter the form it takes.

I am a Click Pro Elite photographer with Click Community and a FilmingLifer with the Filming Life Academy. I’m a hobbyist writer, blessed to be part of the Exhale community, of Coffee & Crumbs, and I have found that writing gives me life in a profound, humbling way.
